Accessories for drive controllers
Inrush current limitation
When the supply voltage is switched on, very high inrush currents (of several hundred amperes) can occur due to the capacitance in the drive controller. Some drive controllers have an internal limit, while motor-integrated controllers require external circuitry to limit DC charging currents. Modules are available to limit these high inrush currents electronically.
Current limiting. Simple. Effective. Safe.
Brake module
All drive controllers supply energy in regenerative mode (braking mode), which is stored in the connected DC source (battery). If the DC source cannot absorb the energy, the regenerative energy must be passed to a resistor via a brake module. The brake module features additional DC inrush current limitation and can therefore be used as a central DC installation for decentralized motor controllers.
Control energy. Protect technology.
Cable sets for operation and commissioning
All drive controllers can be supplied with pre-assembled connecting cables. Operating software and a cable set are available for commissioning.
