It was in 1990 that my passion for drive technology took hold of me and continues to fascinate me to this day. I earned my first spurs as a sales engineer at a leading German manufacturer of drive technology and succeeded as head of sales.

My claim was and still is not to supply customers with mass products, but to create real added value with adaptations or individual developments.
But what happens if you have revolutionary ideas in mind, such as gearless motorized rollers, but the company does not want to implement them? Either you stay in the comfort zone of the corporation or you move out, found your own company and apply for your first European patent as an inventor (EP 14197953.4).
And there's one more thing I've learned: many cooks spoil the broth, and big investors don't always have the right ingredients.
However, revolutionary ideas for unique drives for AGVs, FTFs, AMRs and shuttles cannot be slowed down and that is why I founded Q-Drives!
